Knowledge is power. Islam has basically dwelt upon the supremacy of knowledge and education over other virtues of man. The very first verse of the Holy Qur’an states “Read” (Iqrah). The Prophet has stated that it is obligatory on every man and woman to attain knowledge. To follow this dictate of the Prophet the center carries out a number of education programmes, major among them being the revival of Madrasa Nizamia. The Madrasa was founded by famous Islamic Scholar Allama Nizamuddin Farangi Mahli who was the author of Dars-e-Nizamia, the syllabus followed by nearly all madrasas of the Indian sub-continent. A separate Madrasa is also being run exclusively of girls in which education upto the Almiat Course is being. A separate section of Hifz-e-Qur’an and Qirat is also being run all these education work is done under Darul Uloom Farangi Mahal. Here, children are given mainstream education with a focus on religious knowledge and moral education. Children are provided with free books, uniform and mid-day meals. There is no tuition fee for the curriculum that included computer education and English Language.
