The need to form this department arose from the legal complications that have cropped up around the fulfillment of the most sacred duty of a Muslim. The deptt. ensures that marriages are solemnized strictly on terms of Shariyat and leave no scope for dispute either personal or social. To perform Nikah the department has a panel of Islamic Scholars. The department offers Nikahnama in Arabic as well as in English for the benefit of those who want to migrate. A record is kept of every Nikah solemnized through the department. The department also issues Marriage Certificates. The Centre welcomes all to see the sincerity with which its various department carry out their individual duties.
